Empowerment Strategies: Adventures in Attitudes®
This extremely popular human relations program has been changing lives for over forty-five years. Using small group interaction, shared experiences, and individual and group exercises, participants move through ten high-involvement areas important to developing positive attitudes and life-enhancing skills: Effective Listening; Developing Communication Skills; Attitude Awareness; Dealing with Emotions; Understanding People; Personal Empowerment; Creative Problem Solving; Team Building; Motivation: and Reaching Your Potential.
DiSC: Understanding Yourself and Others
The foundation of personal and professional success lies in understanding self, understanding others, and realizing the impact of personal behavior on the people around you. Using the Personal Profile System®, a multi-level learning instrument, a plan is presented to help individuals understand their behavioral style and the differences of others so that productivity and teamwork can be enhanced within an organization.
Coping and Stress Management
To avoid the peaks and valley of productivity created by high stress and burnout, you need employees who know how to balance the demands of work and personal life without sacrificing either. Utilizing a unique learning instrument, individuals gain insight into how stress in one life area impacts other areas; how coping resources in one area can be used to decrease stress in another; and how stress, coping resources and overall life satisfaction are closely related.
Managing Time Effectively
Setting priorities and managing time effectively is basic to managing individual and organizational performance. Individuals assess their current time management effectiveness and develop customized strategies for improvement in twelve key areas: attitudes, goals, priorities, analyzing, planning, scheduling, interruptions, meetings, paperwork, delegation, procrastination, and time teamwork.

First class competencies are required to meet the needs of both external and internal customers. Individuals identify and gain understanding into their own behavior; learn how to adapt to the customer's behavior; increase professionalism through better attitudes and teamwork; and learn how to manage special situations, problems, and conflicts.

Communicating Effectively
Differences in conversational styles often lead to unanticipated miscommunications between individuals, males and females, and different generations. Learning to understand what goes on when people talk to each other is the best way to improve communications and relationships. Conversational styles, listening habits, and nonverbal communication are explored in a lively, interactive setting that helps participants achieve a greater understanding of themselves and others.

Constantly changing demands of the workplace require individuals to maximize their interactions with others while minimizing conflicts.
